CL - Sunday - And in the end...

Will Porter, best selling novelist and intrepid explorer, died Wednesday evening at the age of 127. Mr. Porter first made a splash in the publishing world with "Oh No She Didn't!" the first of a series of novels detailing the exploits of a gay man and his exuberant family on their very own island. He later made headlines by being the first climber to ever rescue a lost band of sherpas from atop Mt. Everest. Twice. Mr. Porter is survived by his three husbands, six children, 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his brother and sister and a slew of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and godchildren. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to The Bloom Porter York [illegible] Longevity Research Center and Day Spa.
